For builders

You can build it. Now get someone to sell it.

With AI you can ship a product in a weekend. Finding the first hundred customers takes longer. Splitbag lets you offer a cut to people who will do that work, and you pay only when a real customer pays you.

Offers

You set the terms

An offer is a percent, a term, and which sales count. You can run several on one product.

Bring customers

Keep it simple: contributors earn a percent of what the customers they bring pay, for a number of months you choose.

Own a country or a plan

Give someone a slice, like Brazil or your new Teams plan, and pay a cut of just that revenue.

Add an exit kicker

Add a one-time bonus if the product is ever sold, on top of any other offer. Optional.

Every interest is tied to the work and cannot be sold or transferred. There is no equity and no payment for a share.

Attribution

Pick the easiest of three ways

Sales are read from your own Stripe account. Nothing is self-reported.

A: Payment Link wrap

Zero code. Tracked links redirect to your Stripe Payment Link with the contributor attached.

B: Promo code

Splitbag creates a promotion code per contributor on your Stripe account. Any charge using it counts.

C: Snippet

One script tag remembers the visitor. You pass the id to Stripe at checkout.

  1. Step 1

    A customer pays you

    Through your Stripe, as usual.

  2. Step 2

    Splitbag matches it

To the contributor whose link, code or id is on the charge.

  3. Step 3

    The commission is worked out

Held for your refund window, reversed if a refund comes.

  4. Step 4

    The 1st of the month

A statement closes, you are debited, the contributor is paid.

Builder questions

What is Splitbag?

A marketplace where builders list a product and offer a cut of the revenue, and contributors earn that cut by bringing customers. Splitbag tracks sales from the builder's own Stripe account, works out each commission, collects it from the builder, and pays the contributor.

Does it cost anything?

Core Splitbag is free for builders and contributors, with no fee on commissions. Pro is $49 a month per builder workspace and adds featured placement, advanced reports, team seats, API and webhooks, a branded page, priority review and bulk offer tools. Contributors never pay. Stripe's own costs pass through at cost.

Which products can list?

Any product that sells through Stripe, however it was built. You connect your own Stripe account, it needs charges enabled, and a listing goes live after a review.

Link to this question
Is this equity or investing?

No. Contributors earn a share of revenue for work they do, and the interest ends with the work. It cannot be sold or transferred. Splitbag does not take money in exchange for a share and nothing here promises income.

How does Splitbag know a sale came from me?

Three ways, easiest first. Tier A: a tracked link redirects to the builder's Stripe Payment Link with your id attached. Tier B: a promotion code made for your engagement. Tier C: a one-line script that remembers the visitor and passes the id to Stripe at checkout. After the first paid charge, that customer's later invoices stay attributed to you for the offer's term.

Do I need to write code?

Not for Tier A or Tier B. Tier C needs a script tag and one change where your product creates a Stripe checkout. The integration guides include a prompt you can paste into Lovable, Bolt, Replit, Cursor or v0 to do it for you.
