Splitbag for Hand-coded

Any stack. If it can load a script and create a Stripe session, it works.

Zero code. Splitbag tracked links redirect to your Stripe Payment Link with the contributor's id attached.

Best for: Products that sell through a Stripe Payment Link or Stripe-hosted Checkout.

Steps

  1. 1In Stripe, create a Payment Link for the plan you sell. Copy its URL.
  2. 2In Splitbag, open your product, then Integration, choose Tier A, and paste the Payment Link URL.
  3. 3Contributors share their Splitbag tracked links. Each one redirects to your Payment Link with client_reference_id set to their engagement token and their promotion code prefilled.
  4. 4Nothing is installed on your site. It works in every browser and inside in-app browsers, because no cookie is needed.

Test checklist

  • Open one of your own tracked links and confirm it lands on your Payment Link.
  • Confirm the address contains client_reference_id starting with sb_.
  • Pay once in Stripe test mode and confirm the charge appears under the product's Revenue with the right contributor.
